Overview

Directed by Graham Phillips and Parker Phillips, and written by Michael Farris Smith, Rumble Through the Dark is a 2023 American action thriller film. The screenplay is based on Michael Farris Smith’s novel, The Fighter, and features a stellar cast including Aaron Eckhart and Bella Thorne.

Production Details

Aaron Eckhart joined the project in June 2021, and principal photography occurred from late July to September 2021 in Natchez, Mississippi, and the surrounding delta region. Production faced a temporary shutdown due to Hurricane Ida’s rainfall.

Release Information

Lionsgate released Rumble Through the Dark on digital formats and in limited theaters on November 3, 2023.

Critical Reception

On Rotten Tomatoes, 67% of six critics’ reviews are positive, with an average rating of 5/10.
